Hire a Background Check Service

XGuard's Background Check Service category covers professional background screening services for employment, tenant, and personal background investigations including criminal, credit, and verification checks. To hire one, tell XGuard what you need protected, along with your location and timing, and XGuard matches you with independent background check services already active nearby. Every professional passes Stripe Identity verification (government ID plus a live selfie match) before their profile goes live, and where a license applies to the service, XGuard checks it directly against the issuing regulator — one of 168 authorities checked across 40+ countries — rather than taking it on the professional's word. You see the rate, reviews, and real-time availability before you book, so nothing is quoted blind. Payment sits in escrow from the moment you confirm and only releases once the work is complete.
